2009 was a remarkably difficult year for so many and not least those in the construction industry. Many of our colleagues, business contemporaries and allied industries were hit very hard and we too had no choice but to scale back our operations during 2009 as workload reduced beyond our control.

That said we are very excited for 2010 having successfully retained all of our key staff, all of our key skills and all of our key accreditations. We are now lean, keen and perfectly poised to serve and assist our valued clients as the economic recovery begins and this time let us all hope for a sustainable economy.

Sustainability is of course ‘key’ on many different levels in these modern yet tough times and not least in the ‘Built Environment’. Sustainable and renewable technology is our speciality and is fast becoming a basic requirement in all construction projects whether new-build or refurbishment and we are here to provide you with all the answers.

Alan remains committed to giving as much time as he can to supporting and representing his industry and in addition to his role as Honorary Secretary for CIBSE West Midlands Region he sits on various other panels and commitees including SummitSkills, South Birmingham College Employers Steering Group, WMCCE Groups and most recently has become club secretary for Herefordshire and Worcestershire Constructing Excellence club (HAWCE). For the coming year Alan has also offered his services to the SkillElectric competition organised by WorldSkillsUK and he is featured in an article in the January 2010 issue of the Electrical Times magazine having been a successful competitor himself in 1989.

A new decade, a renewed impetus and a new website to start the year…..we hope you like it and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

We wish you all the very best of business success for 2010!
