Technical & Operational Management

We utilise current industry standard software for HVAC & Electrical design along with server based networked computers and high speed communications to maximise efficiency and accuracy.

Drawings are prepared and managed using the latest versions of AutoCAD, from which we can export files to our design software, desktop packages, plotters or PDF printers for presentation and publication.

We hold current industry BS codes, CIBSE & IEE guides, CDM & Environmental legislation, and statutory instruments, allowing us to remain abreast of legislation and to provide advice on their application within construction projects.

Quality Assurance procedures are in place including a standardised filing system allowing rapid information recovery. All output documents are checked prior to issue.

It is our policy to employ high calibre staff with excellent technical abilities and a common business ethic. We recognise the importance of training and we have a programme for the recruitment and education of young engineers. Existing staff are encouraged and supported in their Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Our support of education, training and CPD is further reinforced by one of the Principals, Alan Murphy, and his current role as Chairman (Acting) of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers, West Midlands Region.

We have support from an expert Human Resources consultant to ensure that our staff are be properly selected and trained with their welfare as a high priority.

The Principals have considerable experience in business management and the management of personnel, contracts, projects and communication.

The practice operates in line with current CDM legislation and environmental constraints including the Clean Air Act, Building Regulations and other energy conservation/ carbon reduction directives and initiatives.
